You’ve probably heard from many people throughout your lives who speak about the concept of never giving up, that you should always follow your dreams. We tend to think that it’s just a fallback for any speaker who has nothing to talk about yet still wants to make money to be a sought-after speaker, since this an idea that many people think it would appeal to listeners.

We must try to inculcate this in ourselves and realize that almost no one is born talented in a give field, whether it’s philosophy or sports or science or any other area.

The problem is that many books and movies, both fiction and nonfiction, that speak about a character, there’s no way to covey the effort involved in achieving a true mastery of anything. Consequently, very often readers a d watchers can’t get a real understanding if how much effort is required.

Most of the people who are known as big names in their area, be it Albert Einstein in physics or Michael Jordan in basketball, had to spend many thousands of hours honing their craft. They had to do it during times when they couldn’t be sure whether their work would pay off, spending years honing their skills.

If you want to succeed at anything in life, you’ll have to keep pushing your proficiency in any area. This includes hobbies, social skills and career abilities.
