One of the books I read to try to learn about some ideas had a quiz in it, like many books do, so that you could judge your own personality type. For each type, there was a list of about 30 careers that people who shared your personality often would do.

I had taken several of these before, and they often made recommendations that weren’t suited for me like Child Daycare Worker or Clergyman.

But in this one, it had a suggestion that I didn’t recognize: Life Coach.

I didn’t know what that was. When I researched it, I saw that people in this occupation would work with a client to make the client's life better in some way. I saw many different types of coaching, from busy moms to salespeople.
