There's a lot more to my introduction, but I didn't want to put it in y description directly on my site in the "About Me" section, since people who are just checking out the site don't have to read a long description. If they're interested they can read more below:
As a kid, I didn’t have a dream of having a specific job (doctor, lawyer, etc.), like some do. My parents weren’t pushing me in any particular direction, either. In high school, I wasn’t really drawn to any of the subjects in school as some are (Math, Science, etc.). Then, when I left high school, I didn’t have a specific goal of what education I would need.
After being in Yeshiva for a couple of years, I started to really giving it some serious thought. I tried reading books to get some ideas to consider, but they didn’t really help. I saw many other friends in a similar predicament. Lots of them went to college just to have a BA and to make their parents happy.
But I began noticing that while some of them became interested in using their education to head toward a specific career, many didn’t use them at all. Somebody might go to college and earn a bachelor’s degree in Finance or Psychology, yet they’d end up getting a realtor’s license and go into Property Management or going to law school. I saw that they’d often spent a lot of time and money earning a degree they didn’t end up using! (continued in next post...)
