You’ll be making the list, so you can decide whether each answer is out of 10 possible points or some other number you’d like. Just make sure that you’re consistent.
Once you’ve assigned a number to each option you’re considering, you can ad them up and see which option is better than another, subjectively, basing the decision only on the data you’ve chosen to include.
Of course, once you’ve done this and found out that option A is better than option B, you may still decide to go with option B. And that just means that there are certain things that will be affected when you do it, and it may not be as good an option as it might seem.
Or maybe you really want to do option B because it feels better to you, subjectively. Maybe you realize that if you don’t do B, it can affect other things you hadn’t considered.
And now, if you want, you can weigh the two against each other, giving B more points, taking those factors into consideration.
