When Mentors Do Wrong 2

If I rely on a certain person and dedicate myself to their advice or way of looking at the world, and then that person does something they shouldn’t have, my world shouldn’t collapse because Nobody is Perfect. They All Make Mistakes and I’m the one who tied myself to them so closely and now don’t know what to do with myself.

I realized that if these things are true, the ideas that these people had told me weren’t necessarily wrong, and I needed to test out what they’d told me by seeing if these same views were shared by other people I respected.
